Ducklings bedroom – all dressed up

Nancy’s been getting making a room for the baby ducklings out in our sun room. It is a spacious but cozy 6 feet by 2 feet, with white walls and will have their favorite shavings to nestle into. A new waterer and feeder are clean and ready. A heat lamp hangs overhead to hold the temperature at a balmy 95 degrees should they feel a chill, and they can walk around in the cooler areas when they go “outside” to play.

Nancy said she must carefully remove each new duckling from the shipping box – (they arrive in the mail!) – and water the duckling but not too much. She said, almost happily, that it will take all day to get them out of the box and into their new homes. I think Nancy is very much looking forward to their arrival. Someday, I’ll write about Abigail – the cockatiel who was Nancy’s best friend.
