Fireworks – they’re great.. that, and Band Concerts! What a joy spending Saturday nights at the Petersham Band Shell.. Freshly made popcorn, cold, cold water pumped at the town well, and concert goers honking their approval as they enjoyed the concert from their cars.  Running around, free at night in the night around the bright lights of the band shell.

Well – my dear “nourishing mother” - PSU – has taken that joyful combination and brought it forward. What a wonderful experience was had last Monday afternoon and evening..  here’s a tiny sample:

On seeing this beauty, Nancy always says “why doesn’t everyone just stay home and enjoy the snow?!!”. Yep – sounds like a plan for this President’s Day!
